Info from the Open Spirit newsletter:

The event will kick off with an opening discussion on how embracing creativity can significantly enhance well-being. One focus will be on how to shed self-judgment and explore the immense potential within your creative spirit.

Following the discussion, attendees can dive deeper into their creative side with one of three immersive workshops, each lasting an hour:

Engaging our Hearts in the Creative Process led by Rosanne Kates
Come and utilize your senses as we create freely with flowers. See creativity flourish as the spirit is freed from self-judgment.

Creative Cooking with Pumpkins led by Safiyat Hamiss of Tasty Harvests
Transform traditionally discarded pumpkin seeds and flesh into tasty treats and dishes. Learn to experiment in the kitchen, minimize waste and maximize flavor.

Photography Workshop: Finding Beauty all Around Us led by Fran Bogle
Experience unexpected beauty all around us. Use all of your senses and photography skills as you begin to see the world in new ways. Camera or cell phone camera. No experience needed. This workshop will be held outdoors weather permitting.

After the workshops, there will be a front porch open mic session for people to share their creativity, stories, or simply enjoy the diverse talents of fellow attendees. Light refreshments will be served.
