Open Spirit Center will host an hour of gentle yoga, deep relaxation, and guided meditation on the winter solstice, starting 7:30 pm Thursday, December 21, in person at Edwards Hall or online via Zoom.

“We will draw inspiration from a variety of spiritual traditions as we honor the wide range of emotions that are stirred this time of year, and as we point to the promise of the return of light and hope,” according to Open Spirit. Attendees can sit on a chair or use a yoga mat and are encouraged to bring a candle to light.

Honoring the Dark; Trusting in the Promise of Light will be led by Debbie Clark. It is free to attend; donations to support Open Spirit would be appreciated.

Edwards Hall is at 39 Edwards Street, off Elm Street in the Saxonville section of Framingham.
