More than 1,000 customers are without power throughout Framingham in the wake of today’s high winds and rain, including around 200 in the Pinefield area of District 2, according to an Eversource outage map.

The largest District 2 outage affects around 130 utility customers and occurred about 7 am. Eversource estimates electricity will be back about 12:45 pm.

Another later outage affects around 50 households and there wasn’t an estimated restoration time as of when this was written, shortly after 11 am.

Early afternoon update from the City of Framingham Facebook page:

As of noon, about 3,000 customers in Framingham are without power. That represents about 10% of the 31,000+ Eversource customers.

There are multiple trees down throughout the city.

There is a tree down on Badger Road, forcing the closure of the road. Please seek alternate route.

If you have a downed wire, please call 9-1-1, as you may not know if the wire is live.

For downed trees, please call the Framingham Public Works business line at 508-532-5600.

News media are reporting more than 200,000 without power in Massachusetts.

Blue dots in the morning map below represent outages with fewer than 50. Green triangles represent more.
