Murphy’s has revived Nobscot summertime Saturday night Classic Car Nights starting at 4 pm. If you or anyone in your family enjoys looking at old cars, you may want to take a spin by.
And speaking of old cars, Framingham’s Bay State Motor Festival on Sunday is not exactly in our neighborhood, but you can join the celebration of cars and history on June 8 from 9 am to 2 pm at Cushing Park (80 Dudley Road).
The event “will highlight the 100-year history of automobile manufacturing in Framingham and showcase Massachusetts-made vehicles and also classic and vintage cars from around the world, including MG, Jaguar, Triumph, Mercedes, Porsche, Ferrari and more,” according to the website. The festival is part of Framingham’s year-long 325th anniversary celebration.
Another city-sponsored event tomorrow: Household Hazardous Waste Day, is for Framingham residents to safely dispose of items including pesticides, oil-based paints (not latex), antifreeze, and more. 9 am to 1 pm at the Public Works Operations Center, 100 Western Ave. (bring proof of residency).
