Halloween Happenings

Nightmare Off Elm Street (it is literally off Elm Street 🎃) returns to 28 Griffin Road in Pinefield again this year 🎉. Enjoy the scary backyard walk-through this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 24 & 25; or next Friday and Saturday, Oct. 31 & Nov. 1. All days are from 6 to 9 pm. There will be a Planetarium Spooky Skies show this Friday, Oct. 24 at 4 pm (6 pm show sold out) at the McAuliffe Center planetarium, Framingham State University. “Join us for a live tour of the chilling and eerie objects in our night sky and beyond,” according to the event announcement. “A Halloween spectacular that is sure to frighten and excite! This program features planetarium film Undiscovered Worlds.” Tickets required. $10 for ages 13 and older, $5 for 6-12, ages 5 and under/FSU students free. This year’s Framingham History Center Haunted Trolley Tours run on Sunday, Oct. 26, from 1 to 6 pm. “Our lively guides and talented reenactors will lead you on a one-hour, multi-stop adventure filled with witches, pirates, highwaymen, and eerie ghosts from local legends,” the History Center says. The Serendipity Place is hosting its 4th annual Halloween Farm and Food Fest Saturday, Oct. 25, 11 am to 4 pm at Eastleigh Farm, 1062 Edmand Road. Burn Boot Camp - MetroWest will have a Trunk or Treat spooktacular with decorated trunks and sweet treats at its 969 Concord St. parking lot, as well as a bouncy house in the gym. General Autumn

Plymouth Church (87 Edgell Road) holds its annual fall fair and tag sale this Saturday, Oct. 25, 10 am to 2 pm. The fair features a white elephant sale, book room, Christmas shop, Jewelry room, bake shoppe, fudge, crafts and gift baskets, luncheonette, costume shops & games, and more. 10 am to 2 pm. This is the last weekend of Oktoberfest at Hanson’s Farm, featuring hayrides, a corn maze, sunflower field, cider donuts, caramel apples, and food and beverage tents. Food and drink open 11 am–5:30 pm both Saturday Oct. 25 and Sunday Oct. 26; the farm opens at 9 am. Admission $20 adults (includes sugar pumpkin), $15 ages 6–12, free under 5. Pets on leash welcome. 20 Nixon Road.
