Halloween-Themed Events at McAuliffe Library

Bath Bombs Crafts night, tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 28, 6 to 8 pm (short notice, sorry). From the announcement: “Personalize your very own bath bombs and infuse them with enchanting scents and sparkles! These spooky treats turn your bath into a festive potion of color and fizz, perfect for an at-home spa day for even the witchiest witches. No tricks, just treats! Supplies provided but are limited.”

Fright Night tomorrow, Wednesday, Oct. 29, 6 to 8:30 pm. Local author Bracken MacLeod shares his haunting stories and insights into the craft of horror. After his talk, stay for a 7 pm screening of George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead on the lawn out back. “Bring your own lawn chair/blankets for a cozy night out,” the library advises. “We’ll have snacks for you during the movie. One night only – enter . . . if you dare.”

For little ones:
Tomorrow, Oct. 29: Construction Paper Monster Montage, 11 am to noon, ages 2+
Friday, Oct. 31: Halloween Storytime 10 am to 11, for ages 3 to 5. “Come dressed in costume to listen to Halloween stories, a Halloween craft, and participate in a bubble dance costume party!”

Note: Have gently used and clean Halloween costumes or accessories in your home that you no longer want? You can donate them at the McAuliffe Library.
