FRAMINGHAM – There are two art exhibit opening receptions in the city later this month.

Project B at The Mill Contemporary Art Studio will be hosting an artist reception this Friday, March 13, from 6 to 8 pm for the new show @203.

That show features artists Ryan McGrory and Sorin Bica who have “2 totally different artistic styles,” according to a show announcement posted by Friends of Saxonville.

The Framingham 325th Celebration Committee is hosting a reception on Wednesday, March 18, from 6 to 8 pm to unveil the Framingham 325th Juried Photography Exhibition. That will be in the Memorial Building (City Hall) lower level in conference room 1. Disclosure: One of my photographs is included 😀 – which is how I know there’s at least one photo of a District 2 location in the exhibition!

“We are grateful to all of the photographers who submitted work and to the Arts & Culture Subcommittee members who carefully reviewed dozens of entries,” Jessica Roscio, Director of the Danforth Art Museum and co-chair of the Framingham 325th Arts & Culture Subcommittee, said in a press release about the exhibition. “The final selection highlights both artistic excellence and the diverse character of Framingham.” Photos will be on view through May.

The Mill Contemporary Art Studios is at 2 Central Street (Saxonville Mill Building 1). The Memorial Building is at 150 Concord Street.
