FRAMINGHAM – Bridges & Blooms, a ‘celebration of the intersection of art, science, and history,’ is on display this weekend at Village Hall both Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free.
The event includes “artwork, photography, and botanical sculptures inspired by native plants” from the Framingham High School Fine Arts Department, FHS Environmental Awareness Club, and Framingham Garden Club. Collaborators and sponsors include Native Plant Trust (Garden in the Woods), Framingham History Center, Fran’s Flowers, and Russell’s Garden Center.
“This immersive installation features native plants, a walking path, and a collaborative mandala, inviting reflection on community and connection,” according to a Facebook post by the Framingham History Center.
You can see some photos from the exhibit’s opening reception last night at The MetroWest Daily News.
Village Hall is at 2 Oak Street across from the Framingham Centre Common.
