FRAMINGHAM – Garden in the Woods opens for the 2026 season this weekend – Saturday, April 18, for members and Sunday, April 19, for the general public. The woodland garden, which highlights regional native plants, will then be open daily from 10 am to 5 pm.

Drop-in walking tours are available both Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 pm.

General admission is $18, with special pricing of $15 for ages 65+, $12 for students, and $8 for children ages 5 to 17. There is free admission for Native Plant Trust members, active service members with military ID and their spouses, and children under 5.

Goodnow Library in Sudbury and the Framingham Library both have discount passes you can check out, although availability is limited. Goodnow is considerably more convenient for District 2 residents, since the Framingham pass has to be picked up and returned at the main library, even though the McAuliffe branch is only 1.6 miles from the Garden while the main library is 11 miles roundtrip (and you’d need to do that twice).

Garden in the Woods is at 180 Hemenway Road.
