FRAMINGHAM – This year’s Friends of Saxonville annual Community Meeting will be Thursday, May 14, at Open Spirit’s Edwards Hall, according to an announcement on Facebook.
State Rep. Jack Lewis and District 2 City Councilor Brandon Ward are the scheduled speakers. Attendees are invited to “bring your questions, concerns and suggestions/ideas for how state and local policies and budgets are affecting Massachusetts, Framingham, and Saxonville in particular. . . . Connect with your neighbors, gather important information and hear about local neighborhood updates!”
The public is invited, and admission is free. An informal reception with refreshments starts at 6:30 pm; the program begins promptly at 7 pm.
Edwards Hall is at 39 Edwards Street off Elm Street on the campus of Edwards Church behind the Stapleton Elementary School. (It’s the long, low building, not the one that looks like a house and not the church, map marker may not be exact.)
Sign up for the District 2 email-list.
