FRAMINGHAM – There will be a re-dedication ceremony to mark the 10th anniversary of the current Christa McAuliffe Branch Library in Nobscot this Saturday, May 16, starting at 2 pm.
The branch relocated from a smaller site on Nicholas Road in 2016. “Today, the McAuliffe Branch is one of the busiest branch libraries in Massachusetts,” according to the City of Framingham newsletter.
The popularity of the Nobscot location shows the importance of providing city services to residents who live north of Route 9.
There will be remarks from city and state officials as well as architect Tony Hsiao and a representative from Framingham State’s Christa McAuliffe Center. Light refreshments will be available.
The McAuliffe Library is at 746 Water St.
