FRAMINGHAM – The city’s Department of Public Works is hosting Spring Hazardous Waste Disposal Day this Saturday, May 16, from 9 am to 1 pm at the DPW Operations Center, 100 Western Ave.
You may be required to show proof of residency to participate. This is for residential material only; no commercial waste will be accepted.
Among the items that will be accepted for proper disposal: Aerosol paints, bug sprays, cleaning solvents, oil/enamel/lead-based paints, mercury-containing devices, pool and spa chemicals, and rodent poisons.
Among items that will NOT be accepted: latex paint and PCB oils.
