FRAMINGHAM – The public is welcome at tonight’s (Thursday, May 14) Friends of Saxonville community meeting at Edwards Hall on the campus of Edwards Church, 39 Edwards St. off Elm Street. Refreshments and informal mingling start at 6:30 pm and the program is scheduled to begin promptly at 7 pm.

State Rep. Jack Lewis and District 2 City Councilor Brandon Ward are the scheduled speakers. They are expected to speak on “How are current state and local policies and budgets affecting our state, our city, and Saxonville in particular?”

Attendees are invited to “bring your questions, concerns and suggestions/ideas for how state and local policies and budgets are affecting Massachusetts, Framingham, and Saxonville in particular. . . . Connect with your neighbors, gather important information and hear about local neighborhood updates!”

(Edwards Hall is the long, low building, not the one that looks like a house and not the church, near the Stapleton Elementary School.)
