FRAMINGHAM – Thursday night outdoor jazz concerts return to McAuliffe Library next month starting July 9, when the Mike Fritz Quartet performs from 7 to 8 pm. Bring a chair or lawn blanket and enjoy the music! The concerts are outside behind the library in Astronaut Grove. In case of bad weather, the music will move indoors.
The Mike Fritz Quartet play American jazz styles including swing, fusion, and jazz funk, and specialize in the Great American Songbook.
Jazz bassist Alison Keslow is on the schedule for Thursday, July 23 from 7 to 8 pm. Keslow has been a nominee for Boston Music Award jazz artist of the year and co-founded the Sudbury School of Music.
The McAuliffe Library is at 746 Water Street in Nobscot.
