FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Grows Food is hosting its 15th annual Vegetable Gardens Tour on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 9 am to around 12:45 pm. Attendees will be able to tour six home and community gardens in north Framingham for “inspiration, ideas, and advice from local gardeners,” according to the event announcement.
Advanced registration is requested at https://givebutter.com/2026GardenTour. There is a suggested donation of $15 per ticket which “is greatly appreciated but not required,” the ticketing page says.
Participants are asked to meet at Open Spirit (39 Edwards St.) at 9 am to arrange carpooling (so to not overwhelm available parking at home gardens). The tour is expected to run from 9:15 am to 12:35 pm and then return to Open Spirit at 12:45 pm.
Attendees are advised to bring a reusable water bottle and snacks, and wear appropriate clothing and footwear. The event will take place rain or shine, unless there is severe weather.
