FRAMINGHAM – There are just four more Framingham Farmers Markets left for the season, and this Thursday’s market changes to the earlier closing time now that sunsets are before 7:00.
Markets for the rest of the year will run Thursdays from 3 to 6 pm, as always on the Framingham Centre Common between Edgell Road and Vernon Street just north of Rte. 9 and Route 30.
Market Manager Bill Sell reports “another almost full house across the board” including “several new or recently new to us bakers” and lots of food trucks (Cousins Maine Lobster is one of those scheduled). This is also the last week for Simply Sharp knife sharpening.

Parking is available at First Parish Church (Vernon Street) and Plymouth Church (Edgell Road). There are also sometimes spots at NorthEast Community Bank as well on on-street parking. The lot at Village Hall is reserved for vehicles with handicapped placards.
As far as I know, there’s no longer a direct MWRTA bus that goes from Saxonville/Pinefield to the Framingham Centre Common; you’d have to change, which isn’t very convenient to say the least. However, the new Route 203 goes from McAuliffe library to Framingham Centre every 40 minutes or so.
