FRAMINGHAM – Do you have something that needs fixing or mending? The next Framingham Repair Cafe is this Sunday, Oct. 18, 2 to 5 pm at Scott Hall, First Parish Church, 24 Vernon St.

Volunteers can fix many things for free, according to the event flyer, including (clean) clothing, lamps, small appliances, computers and other electronics, bikes, batteries, toys, jewelry and sewing machines. They’ll also sharpen straight blades on knives, scissors, and garden tools.

Attendees can enjoy a free drink and snack while working with a volunteer to repair an item.

If your item needs a part, you’re asked to please bring that new with you.

The Repair Cafe is an all-volunteer project sponsored by the Rotary Club of Framingham. If you’re interested in helping, volunteers can sign up at tinyurl.com/FramFixVolunteer. More info at FraminghamRepairCafe.org.
