City Planner to Speak at Friends of Saxonville Meeting April 22

FRAMINGHAM – The city’s director of planning and community development is the scheduled speaker at this year’s Friends of Saxonville annual meeting on Tuesday, April 22. Refreshments and informal mingling starts at 6:30 pm, and the formal meeting will begin at 7 pm. The meeting will be at Open Spirit, 39 Edwards St. (behind the Stapleton elementary school) and is open to the public.

Sarkis Sarkisian is expected to focus his remarks on the city’s development priorities for Saxonville and initiatives “to ensure the future vitality of the village,” according to the Friends of Saxonville Spring 2025 newsletter. Topics will likely include “public infrastructure improvement, updated Saxonville zoning, potential housing initiatives, historic preservation, local economic development, and more.”
