“The Friends of Saxonville and Framingham Cultural council are calling on local artists to submit mural proposals celebrating the history and importance of the Sudbury River to Saxonville,” the MetroWest Daily News reports. Murals are planned for the two floodgates on Concord Street, with funding of $5,000 per floodgate mural available. Proposals should be submitted by June 30.
