Welcome to the new District2Framingham.com!
The site has a new, streamlined design and speedy full-text search – use the magnifying-glass icon at the top right of the navigation banner to search posts.
The original District2Framingham.com launched in 2017 as Framingham was transitioning from a town to a city. It would have taken a lot of time to move more than 300 posts to this new platform. So only some are here, but all the posts since 2017 remain online at the archived site: https://archive.district2framingham.com.
Behind the scenes, there’s a new tech publishing platform called Quarto that makes it easier to create interactive maps, charts, and graphs. I hope to be publishing more of that soon.
As always, you can keep up with the latest info by either visiting the site or signing up for the District 2 Framingham email list. In addition, there’s a new associated Mastodon account which you can view without having an account of your own.
Finally, if you use an RSS reader, the site has a new RSS feed for all posts at https://www.district2framingham.com/index.xml and a feed for event listings only at https://www.district2framingham.com/index-events.xml.
