Arts Wayland Expo 2024 takes place this Saturday, May 18, 1 pm to 7:15 pm on the Wayland Town Green featuring live music and dance, an Artists Tent Pavilion and Marketplace, food trucks, and children’s activities. Rain date is Sunday, May 19, same time.
Performers include the Dwayne Hagggins Band, Wayland School of Music faculty, and Grammy nominee and Carnegie Hall dancer and vocalist Bárbara Martínez with flamenco virtuosos the Laura Sánchez Dance Troupe.
Music kicks off with the Wayland High School Honors Jazz Ensemble at 1 pm, followed by Wayland School of Music Faculty & Selected Students at 2:10 pm, Wellesley classic rock band Big Foot at 3 pm, Flamenco at 4:30, and Dwayne Haggins from 5:25 to 7 pm. Wayland Town Green is at Andrews Avenue, within the shopping center off Rte 20 that includes the Wayland Stop & Shop and restaurants like The Local and Giacomo’s.
