Tuesday (tomorrow): Friends of Saxonville Annual Meeting, featuring Sarkis Sarkisian, Director of Planning and Community Development to talk about city plans for the village. SATURDAY: Framingham Earth Day Festival, Saturday April 26, 11 am to 3 pm, Framingham Centre Common. Live music, energy-saving tips and ideas, recycling opportunities, exhibits, and more. More info: https://framinghamearthday.org
Also Saturday: Science on State Street annual community science festival, noon to 3 pm, organized by Framingham State University’s Christa McAuliffe Center and the MetroWest STEM Education Network. Exhibit themes relate to planet Earth. Explore science, technology, engineering, and math and how they can support environmental justice & sustainability. Includes kid-focused activities. Note: You can walk between the two festivals using the pedestrian bridge over Route 9 (I’ve done it in past years).

Monday, April 28: Twilight Astronomy with Prof. George Fishman, senior lecturer of astronomy at Bentley College, who will answer questions about planets, stars, galaxies, NASA, and the search for life outside Earth. 7 to 8:30 pm outside the McAuliffe Library in Astronaut Grove (event will move inside in case of bad weather).
