Immigrant Rights & Resources Night Thursday

This Framingham Human Relations Commission online-only event will feature presentations on legal rights, how to support immigrant communities, available community services, and student safety and mental health resources

FRAMINGHAM – The city’s Human Relations Commission is hosting an Immigrant Rights & Resources night this Thursday, May 22, from 7 to 9 pm on Zoom.

The event will feature presentations by MetroWest Legal Services on legal rights and planning strategies; Framingham and Keefe Tech superintendents discussing student safety, mental health support, handling enforcement actions near schools, and other issues; BRACE’s executive director on available support services for immigrants; and the Massachusetts Immigrant Resource Association on advocacy and how to support our immigrant communities. There is also a planned Q&A session.

People can join the webinar anonymously with their video off. It will be recorded for those who can’t attend live.

There will be translation services available in Spanish and Portuguese.
