FRAMINGHAM – Incumbent District 2 School Committee member David Tomas Gordon (Geraldine Road) has pulled papers to run for re-election, according to the City Clerk’s latest list.
That would mean three candidates running for the seat — and require a preliminary election — if all three candidates return the necessary 50 signatures by July 15. If needed, the 2025 preliminary election would be held on September 16. The general election is November 4.
I noted last week that two newcomers had pulled papers to run for District 2 School Committee this fall: Lorena Tovar (Chouteau Avenue) and Luther T. Evans (Derby Street). At that time Gordon hadn’t yet requested papers, although he had told me he planned to run again this year.
