FRAMINGHAM – Milling and paving work starts today on Elm Street between McGrath Square and Chestnut Street, as well as on Chestnut and Edwards Streets, the city announced. Work is expected to last about a week, from 7 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
If you are attending classes at Open Spirit, be advised that Edwards Street will be closed “while milling and paving occur.” Elm Street should be open with one lane in each direction but “may alternate to one lane at times.”
There is no parking on Elm Street M-F from 7 am to 5 pm in that area.
Chestnut Street will have a detour, with residents at the end of the road beiing detoured around the back of Stapleton School.
