FRAMINGHAM – The District 2 Preliminary Election is tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 16. Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm Tuesday. Only District 2 – Precincts 25, 26, and 27 – is voting tomorrow.

Don’t know your precinct or where to vote? You can enter your address here: https://www.sec.state.ma.us/WhereDoIVoteMA/WhereDoIVote. Precincts 25 and 26 vote at Walsh Middle School, 301 Brook St. Precinct 27 votes at the George P. King Elementary School, 454 Water St.

District 2 School Committee member David Gordon is facing challengers Lorena Tovar and Luther Evans. The top two finishers will face off in the November 4 general election, when we’ll also be electing a District 2 City Councilor as well as mayor and several other city-wide offices.

If you have a vote-by-mail ballot, you can still return it to the ballot drop box in front of McAuliffe Library (746 Water St.) by 8 pm tomorrow. There is also a ballot drop box behind the Memorial Building (City Hall, 150 Concord St.). You cannot return a mail-in ballot to a regular polling place. However, if you haven’t used the mail-in ballot yet, you can choose to vote in person – just make sure not to also use the mail-in ballot!
