FRAMINGHAM – Edgell Road paving is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 25 and Friday, Sept. 26 from 7 am to 5 pm “weather permitting,” according to the Framingham Department of Public Works. Work will take place from just beyond Central Street up through Nobscot. Only emergency vehicles, school buses, and residents living within the affected area will be allowed to use the road; there will be detours for all other drivers. Update: Paving work was rescheduled to Sept 26 and 29.
“Once paving is complete, Newport Construction will conduct casting adjustments along Edgell Road. This work will require alternating traffic until the project is finished,” the DPW announcement said.
