Repair Cafe logo. Toss it? No way! The fix is free at the Repair Cafe

FRAMINGHAM – Do you have something that needs fixing or mending? There will be a Repair Cafe on Sunday, March 1, 2 to 5 pm at Scott Hall, First Parish Church, 24 Vernon St.

Volunteers can fix many things for free, according to the event announcement, including clothing, lamps, small appliances, computers/other electronics, bikes, batteries, toys, jewelry and sewing machines. There will also be a station for sharpening straight knives, scissors and garden tools.

You can even enjoy a free drink and snack while you work with a volunteer to repair your item.

If you know what parts are needed, you’re asked to please get them ahead of time.

Local Repair Cafes are volunteer projects sponsored by the Rotary Club of Framingham with support from Transition Framingham.
