FRAMINGHAM – Early voting for the Sept. 1 Massachusetts primary begins tomorrow, Monday, Aug. 24 at McAuliffe Library. Hours are 10 am to 2 pm Monday through Thursday this week and 10 to noon on Friday.
There are more extensive hours at Nevins Hall in the Memorial Building downtown. Early voting downtown started over the weekend, and upcoming hours at city hall are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; 8:30 am to 7 pm on Tuesday; and 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Friday.
If you are voting by mail and already have a vote-by-mail ballot, you can return that ballot at the drop box in front of the McAuliffe Library or the drop box behind the Memorial Building, as well as mail it by postal mail. And, you can return it in person to the City Clerk’s office (Room #105) in the Memorial Building when that office is open. However, you can’t return a vote-by-mail ballot to your Election Day polling place.
If you plan to vote in person on September 1, polls will be open from 7 am to 8 pm;. You can find your polling location and registration info at the Secretary of State’s office.
The McAuliffe Library is at 746 Water St.. The Memorial Building is at 150 Concord St..
